Overview

Corolla Adventure Tours puts you in the driver's seat for a guided wild horse tour across the Outer Banks 4x4 beaches. You steer your own UTV while an expert local guide leads the way through open sand, remote coastal trails, and historic backroads where the wild Spanish mustangs of Corolla roam. The route climbs Penny's Hill, the second largest living sand dune on the East Coast and privately held by our company, where the view opens across the Atlantic Ocean and the Currituck Sound. Each ride lasts about ninety minutes and suits every experience level, so families, couples, and groups can all take the wheel. It is a hands-on way to find the horses and see a side of Corolla few visitors reach.
